Led by Shaily Feinberg – One of Israel’s Most Experienced and Renowned Teachers
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle yet profound healing approach that focuses on deep listening and subtle touch. It works with the natural movements of life within the body’s tissues and the cerebrospinal fluid system, which reflects a primary life force known as the "Breath of Life."
During the training, you will learn how to sense, be present with, and listen to the body’s natural rhythms and tides. This allows for the release of tension, regulation of the nervous system, strengthening of the body’s inherent healing forces, and a fuller, freer expression of life.
Shaily Feinberg has been practicing for over 30 years across four core fields:
Polarity Therapy – Body, Mind & Spirit
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Somatic Experiencing (SE) combined with Dr. Stephen Porges' Polyvagal Theory
Visceral Osteopathy (V.M) by Barral
Mindfulness
She was the first to introduce Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy to Israel and is the country’s pioneering teacher in the field. Since 2005, she has trained 13 successful cohorts of professional therapists.
Shaily’s extensive clinical and teaching experience is expressed through a unique and profound integration of anatomy, body awareness, emotions, and spirit. Her teaching style is open and holistic, combining diverse learning methods—cognitive, emotional, imagery and visualization, sensory experiences, and even intuitive communication between body and spirit. She also enriches the training with case studies from her broad clinical experience.
The learning process is infused with passion and deep care, creating a safe and supportive space for every student’s personal expression and growth.

The field of Craniosacral therapy evolved from osteopathy, which focuses on four primary systems of the human body: the structural (bones and muscles), vascular (blood vessels), visceral (internal organs), and neurological (nervous system) systems. Craniosacral therapy, rooted in osteopathy, is considered the “fifth system,” developed with specific diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
There are three main schools of Craniosacral therapy:
Mechanical-Osteopathic Craniosacral
Biodynamic Craniosacral
Spiritual-Energetic Craniosacral
The biodynamic approach was first developed by Dr. Rollin Becker, who recognized the body’s natural ability to self-diagnose, release, reorganize, and heal. Later, Dr. Franklin Sills established and refined the biodynamic craniosacral approach. This method emphasizes rhythms that go beyond the purely physiological and structural, while integrating verbal communication, emotional and somatic experiential work, and the active involvement and empowerment of the client in the healing process.
The training program led by Shaily Feinberg, through the Israeli Center for Biodynamic Craniosacral & Polarity Therapy, combines in-depth studies of anatomy and physiology with a profound sensory experience. It draws on real-life case studies and Shaily’s extensive clinical expertise, emphasizing presence, subtle touch, somatic-emotional work, self-regulation, verbal skills, and connection to the emotional and energetic layers of the human experience.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy emphasizes the importance of the body’s sensory experience as an essential complementary healing tool alongside verbal therapies such as psychotherapy. It integrates elements from Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Focusing modalities.
A key feature of this approach is learning anatomy and physiology through direct bodily experience, identifying and understanding the life movements and tissue dynamics related to trauma and pain. Through increased bodily awareness and sensation, each participant becomes an active partner in their own healing journey, enabling a natural reconnection to the body’s inherent healing forces.
Additionally, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy provides tools for cultivating presence and creating a safe, trusting space for deep and gentle connection — with or without touch — fostering profound safety and personal growth.

But I have realized early during the studies that Shaily gives a lot more into her teaching than the material she received in this program. She shared with us her long years of therapeutical experience with its wisdom coming along, gave a lot of the input of her polarity therapy knowledge, as well as her additional studies of physiology and anatomy that she has been researching, and enriched the study space by her spiritual acknowledgment.
I deeply recommend you to be introduced by her to the amazing and life changing world of cranio-sacral.
Craniosacral therapy (affectionately called “Cranio”) is a treatment where the hands listen. Through gentle touch, they sense the subtle rhythm of the cerebrospinal fluid. From the outside, it may seem as though nothing is happening, but inside, this deep listening instills a profound sense of safety and calm in both body and mind. It allows the body to access its inherent vitality and strength, gently release what needs to be released, and heal. Believe me, it’s pure magic.
In the very first class, Shaily held a colorful model of a skull, slowly rotating it. Each bone was painted a different color, and as I quietly observed the spinning skull, my eyes filled with tears, and I knew deep in my heart that I had come home.
Shaily, I thank you from the depths of my heart for the vast knowledge you so generously shared, for the profound learning journey, and for your wise, natural integration of body, emotion, and spirit. I am grateful for your personal support throughout the entire process — even long after the studies ended — for your ability to see the health and goodness in complex situations, for your open heart and love, and for teaching me to slow down and simply be. Thank you.
It’s moving. It’s awe-inspiring. It’s a reminder of the immense yet gentle power present in every cell, a power simply called… Love.
I came to Shaily with a background and experience in Chinese Medicine, including specialization in orthopedics – and yet, studying with her opened up an entirely new world of understanding about the healing wisdom inherent in the body.
Shai-Lee possesses deep knowledge and vast experience, which she shares with contagious passion, great patience, generosity, and immense love.
The training integrates theory with practical, experiential learning that truly connects the knowledge to the body and to life itself.
In my eyes, everything I knew as a therapist has been greatly upgraded. My ability to feel, understand, and connect to the inner life force has risen to an entirely new level.
I wholeheartedly recommend this training to anyone seeking to deepen, refine, and expand their therapeutic tools.
My sessions at the clinic have deepened and evolved, and I have gained tools for balance and self-healing.
The training is a deep dive into anatomy and the wonders of the body, exploring the currents that move within it, connecting deeply to the body’s innate health, and strengthening the Breath of Life.
This is just a glimpse of what you experience while studying with Shaily
Every time I enter the classroom, I know I’m stepping into a true treasure of knowledge. The studies nourish the soul and are filled with moments of wisdom and insight that have profoundly transformed my entire understanding of the body, mind, and human spirit.
Shaily is a radiant beacon of light; her shining spirit illuminates the path — guiding us toward deep healing, self-discovery, and transformation.
She imparts wisdom that reaches deep into the core of your being. She teaches from the heart, with immense dedication, openness, and deep respect for each person’s unique journey.
For me, this training is a renewed sense of purpose, a profound understanding of the body and human experience. It reveals the healing potential that can mend almost any pain or trauma, allowing us all to find our way home — to the wholeness of the Breath of Life that is our very essence.
This is a deeply professional and thorough training. I recommend it wholeheartedly and warmly.
With deep appreciation and gratitude to Shaily Feinberg for the privilege of being your student. Your lessons go with me everywhere.
Thank you 🙏🏻❤️
I strongly recommend... to go through the entire route with a teacher for life!"
No.
An intimate study group with personal attention and guidance for up to 10 participants.
All craniosacral studies worldwide, following international standards, are taught as highly professional training programs in a two-year format, provided the instructor is certified to teach. There are also shorter courses, which serve more as workshops or introductions for those who already practice various therapy types and want a general overview.
It is always advisable to ask short-course instructors where they received their certification to teach.
It is very important to complete a full, professional training in craniosacral therapy—not just take introductory or workshop courses.
At the beginning of the training, during the early stages, it is possible to make up missed lessons with the teacher or assistant for a fee.
As learning progresses and understanding deepens, it will be possible to make up missed classes with one of the fellow students.
There is also an option to ask a fellow student to record or film the class.
It is the sole responsibility of the student to keep track of what was covered in the missed lesson(s) and to complete them.
The studies are very well integrated—dynamic and balanced between:
Anatomical presentations and perceptual-theoretical content.
Guided self-explorations and partner exercises.
Experiential touch work with personal guidance from the teacher.
Support from the teacher and assistant during partner exercises.
Group divisions to address relevant questions, deepen understanding, and reinforce learning.
Homework assignments including writing, reading, drawing, and exercises to encourage active independent learning at home.
In summary: a dynamic, diverse learning experience combining theory and anatomy with experiential practice—both individual, self-guided, and with partners.
Throughout the entire training, there are homework assignments involving independent practice on various people chosen by the student.
After completing Stage 4 (out of 6 stages), which is a significant phase focused on trauma, traumatization, and pathways to freedom and life, the students independently begin two important projects:
A self-assessment project with a structured questionnaire and process feedback.
Their case study treatment project, with very clear and detailed guidelines.
This is a crucial and highly empowering process.
Upon successful completion of all training requirements, students will receive a certification issued by
“The Israeli Center for Biodynamic Craniosacral & Polarity Therapy / Shaily Feinberg.”
